If you have had a sever allergic reaction to codeine, hydrocodone,
dihydrocodeine, or oxycodone (such as Tylox, Tylenol with Codeine, Vicoden),
contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking Vicoden. A severe
allergic reaction includes a severe rash, hives, breathing difficulties,
or dizziness. If you have a question about whether you are allergic
to Vicoden or if a certain medicine contains codeine, hydrocodone,
dihydrocodeine, or oxycodone, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Vicoden during
pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF Vicoden IS EXCRETED in breast milk.

check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Vicoden Drug Interactions
Do not take acetaminophen and hydrocodone if you have taken a monoamine
oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine
(Nardil), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) in the last 14 days. Dangerous
side effects could result.
Vicoden Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Do not take a double dose
of this medication. Wait the prescribed amount of time before taking
your next dose.
Vicoden Storage
Store Vicoden at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep this and
all medications out of the reach of children.
Vicoden Notes
Avoid alcohol while taking acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Alcohol will
greatly increase the drowsiness and dizziness caused by acetaminophen
and hydrocodone and could be dangerous. Also, acetaminophen can damage
your liver if you drink three or more alcoholic beverages a day. Avoid
sleeping pills, tranquilizers, sedatives, and antihistamines except
under the supervision of your doctor. These medications also may cause
dangerous sedation.
